Everybody Cries Sometimes

But not in these pictures! Ok... so today was one of those days. 

Let's start with Andrew: Still acting out from our last stay away.  And he is a thrower!  I don't know where he gets this stuff from?! It must be instinctive because neither Ray or I are throwers. (Yellers... maybe - ok - I am [as I hang my head in shame.]) but we are NOT throwers. Does that make me a better parent? So back to Andrew - he is throwing everything.  If he is the least bit irritated he will grab something and throw it.  I feel like I should scold him because I don't want to encourage it - but I also just want to hug him all the time and remind him how much I love him.

 Addison is a taunter. She is so sneaky. And only those of you who know me personally can truly appreciate how proud that makes me. Because she is my little girl.  Mine.... you know, when your mom says, "I hope you have a kid just like you" ... I did. And I Love Her.

And finally- Alexander.  The baby curled up on my chest at this very moment.  He is still fussy.  We're not sure if it is those pesky teeth trying to poke through, if it is because he is still seizing some (3 last night),  if it is due to all the emergency meds they pumped into him last week, or if it is because of the new maintenance medicine he is on. But my happy baby is not so happy right this moment. 

But you know what? Everybody cries sometimes. And so what? It is not the end of the world. A few tears can be just enough rain to clear a path for a teriffic smile.

Guess who got a haircut tonight before bed? WOW! I didn't realize it was that long!

 She is such a stinker. You have to trick her to get her smiling in a photo.

 Guess who else got a little hair cut tonight.  I guess bangs grow out when you find yourself wrapped up in other melodrama.

 I love shots like this. She is such a good sister. She really loves him. My heart overflows....

Truth be told... This picture was taken while Addison was having a melt down because she tripped and fell.  He seriously loves to hear one of the other kids cry. *sigh*

You know there is barely a night that goes by that we don't dress up, right? And what self respecting Monkey would not wear purple ball gown gloves?

So this is not a game of, "Guess that object."  This is actually Alexander's first hair cut.  I know - you are all scrolling up to the earlier picture and saying, "What hair?!" But.... he had this - 'hair that hangs over your ears even though you are bald - like an old man - hair.' And I trimmed him up.  And now I have a first haircut memory of all my babies.

 *I type as I kiss his little bald head*
