Inspiration Sunday

I'd like to try something new.  You see... many blogs have a way to "interact" with the people that read it.  They have an idea or a forum where people can send pictures, guest blog, respond to an ongoing topic, etc.  I would like to do this.

Sometimes I feel like so much attention is given to negative things in life ~ and I would like to focus on the positive.  We all have people who inspire us.  Here is how Inspiration Sunday is going to work. (hopefully!)

 You will send me a picture of someone who inspires you.  You can include the name of the person, your name, or NO name - if you want it to be anonymous.  You can write a little sentence or a paragraph (whatever you feel like) saying why this person inspires you.  Please - don't be intimidated.  A photo with the sentence, " this girl inspires me because she finds a way to tell her kids she loves them everyday" is enough. It doesn't have to be some huge post.

How awesome would it be to log on every Sunday and have a nice - make you feel awesome - post honoring those who inspire us.  If you don't participate - you will be forced to read about the people that inspire me ... week after week after week.... so send me something!  You can send it to themoweryfamilytrust@yahoo.com

Denise Dreger - You inspire me.
You are amazing.  You make everything seem so effortless.  More importantly - you never make people feel like an inconvenience.  You are now Dr. Dreger.  I don't think people realize what a task this was for you.  While you were in the middle of completing this degree
~ you also~

focused time and energy on making difficult decisions to have a better life.
planed a wedding and married an amazing guy
had Joey
worked hard to be a mother to little Joey and wife to big Joey
bought new house.
worked full time
and are about to have another baby... in less than one week.

You also maintained friendships - including being in several weddings.  You've driven 4 hours to come see me when it was important to me... including last month for Alexander's big 1.

You never let people know how much it took out of you to finish this.  To cross the line and say done.  You found a great job and didn't need the doctorate degree. And were paying money every semester your dissertation wasn't finished....  People quit all the time.  They say life is in the way.  They say its not necessary.
You didn't quit.  You finished... Dr. Dreger. You haven't made a big deal out of it... but it is a big deal.

My friend, you make me proud. You taught  me not to give up.  Even when it seems life was telling you to quit.... to continued on.  You inspire me.
