Drop by

I love guests.  I love to host parties. I love to have people come to visit. When I'm in the car alone - I call someone! I just love people.  And ... I love when we have guests.  BUT.. BE WARNED.... If you come by unannounced, I will not have time to prepare for your arrival.  You are still welcome, but my house will be a wreck.  You see... there is a lot of help going on in this house. So - I thought I would capture it for you all to see.... 
A day when no one is here:
Please excuse the over exposed pictures - taken with my cell phone because the real camera was charging!
Notice the Twin Helper / Tornadoes washing dishes.  You should know that each insisted in having their own "washer thing" and bucket of water in the sink.  You can also see Alexander just watching and waiting until he will be able to join in. 

You can note: from Left to right:  Cutting board with Avocado and Banana peels / Blender where I am making Alexander's food / Twins "washing" dishes / Sippies etc because Alexander is on an Eating strike and we are trying everything / A box of "healthy food for the twins" - aka mac-N-Cheese and Manwich. You might also notice that almost every cabinet is open - Ask Ray - an annoying habit of mine.

You might wonder what the purpose of this picture is.... I was trying to capture the pool of water that was flooding my floor.

Why was there so much water? Well... because MOM.... we needed more water to wash our dishes.

How about if we both also clean your counters?  That won't make a mess! That is helping you!

Finally... And this is no lie... Addison decided she needed to tell me she was wet. Um.... Really?

I wish Alison and Chris would "help" more. Although when they help me do dishes it's two sets of hands against one set putting away dishes from dishwasher. You gotta be fast or you WILL have broken plates or glasses

I am SO in love with that picture of Alexander!!!!!! He is such a cutie pie...and getting so big!!

My *helpers* are walking around the house with spray bottles filled with water. Everything is soaked...but the ability to finish my coffee is so worth it! xo

You are way braver than I am. I won't let my kids near the sink only because it results in one or more of us slipping and falling on the tile floor. I do let them load the dishwasher, which has alerted me to Luka's knife fetish. As for the beards...we all get them at bath too and judging by my grandmother and her sisters, in a decade or two I will have my very own real beard!
