Church Message - Mother's Day Talk of Hope and Love

God Doesn't Make Mistakes.

But... what if your worst fear came true?

This is actually the question I pose to my students during the first week of school. As a way to explain our circumstances and how they really impacted / impact our lives.

My 3 worst fears... Losing my husband or children / having an unhealthy child / or becoming a quadropelegic. I then go on to explain how my biggest fear did come true... but you must get up the next day and go on with life. This past year has been a whirlwind for us - but this message at our church allowed me to make a Positive memory for Mother's Day. This memory has now overtaken last year's memory for Mother's Day. And I would like to share it with all of you.

There are 2 "videos" of the service.

Part 1 = The Scripture Reading, and Introduction of our message, and the original video describing our feelings when we first heard about Alexander's diagnosis.

Part 2 = The Message and the second video made about a month ago describing our feelings about Alexander's diagnosis one year later.

Please - we hope his story blesses you as much as it blesses us. Feel free to share as you feel led.
