MMLM: A Week of Random Humor

This week has been filled with laughable moments.  Here are a few:

Welcome to this week’s edition of Make Me Laugh Monday.  Where you can embarrass yourself on my blog with funny pictures, funny stories, or … just laugh along while I embarrass myself.  Either way… Mondays shouldn't be a bad start to the week. Life is too short.

Still running.  If you can call it that. Remember when I confessed that I sweat like a pig as I stumble along the trail?  Well, this Under Armor scull cap does the trick – but it does make me look ridiculous.  My running partner even had to tell me to take it off the other day. *sigh* I’m going to put a beanie on over top Smile

Speaking of …. My running buddy.  He LOVES to be outside with me while I run. He actually giggles as the wind hits his face.  And I love that I can lean on the stroller when I think I’m going to fall over push extra weight to build muscles.

We decided to do a “fun run” to support a local foundation.  The foundation has a great cause – but 2 miles like THIS is a little much.  Stinkers.  Let’s just say we didn’t actually run too much.

On to other things… I took Andrew grocery shopping with me and he started screaming not to crush the eggs.  I could not for the life of me figure out where the eggs were he was talking about.  Until he pointed them out.  The little heat stones on my back wrap heat pad.  If you are wondering why I needed a heat pad – see above photo.

Addison has become quite the fashionista.  She does things like this all the time.  I love that girl!



IMG_0489Funny story.  Ray went to a football game and I was left in charge of the children.  Normally… this is no problem.  But,  they were spoiled watched by my mother and aunt who love them to death, and they were wound up beyond belief.  Finally, at bedtime, I told them to clean up.  I see them grabbing all their trucks and toys and running.  I can hear them say to each other, “hide.” Here is where I found them.  Hiding behind the curtain.  I’m not going to lie… it was too funny.  I took a photo.  Then I said, “why did you guys hide your toys instead of just putting them away?”  And I hear Addison yell, “RUN!” After which they both took off running.  I could not help but laugh. 

So that is basically the funny moments I was able to to capture on camera.

I refuse to laugh at you in any running gear. It would belittle the fact that I am incredibly proud of you!

I will, however, laugh at the kids behind the curtain...hahahaha!

I'm with Melissa. I hate climbing stairs so as far as I'm concerned you can run naked and I would never laugh! Even at your do-rag *throat clear*!


But I did get a chuckle at seeing "Mr Hollywood" Alexander with his super cool shades. very cute!

I loved Addison fashion pic! I need to send you the picture of Emmy who thought she had to wear her PFD (life jacket) while riding her trike (with her helmet on!) She will hate it when she is older!

Also, Elsie walked around all afternoon talking about Alexander =and where did he go! We shipped his package for his running gear today!! And that is what she wanted to talk about all afternoon!

Sorry I missed the fun on Monday. I just posted something tonight that had me laughing on Tuesday (yes, I was laughing at my kids being upset).

Make Me Laugh Tuesday/Wednesday??
