We are 5 STRONG

Last evening was so nice... The sun shone for the first time in what seemed like forever and all of us were able to enjoy the back yard. And there were things I was thinking of as I watched my kids play. We are stronger. As the twins get older, they are able to be trusted to do more. They seem to be adapting more to what behavior is really dangerous. I really only get uptight about disrespectful or dangerous behavior.

Example - the kids can now be outside while Ray mows the yard. Even 6 months ago this would not have been possible.

Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy the pictures.

Andrew wants to be just like Daddy.

Not only can he fix the lawn mower, but he can also plant flowers.

The twins helping Daddy replant flowers around the deck.

That doesn't mean my kids aren't still ornery (tonight Addison tried to shove her head in the toilet to get a better look) - but they seem to be sensing when the tone changes to "this is really really bad." Anyway - we were a little more experimental tonight because the kids are more able to handle the responsibility. I'm picturing the time when we can all go to a doctor visit if necessary because the twins can handle it.... when we don't have to find a place for everyone ~ because we are in this together ~ we are 5 STRONG.

The twins decided (on their own) to help Alexander walk around!
